The Club Roblox Wiki has rules/guidelines to help better the community and its pages. All users must abide by these rules and fully understand them. Failure to comply with said rules for the first time may result in a warning depending on the rule broken. Continuously breaking the rules will result in harsher punishment, such as a temporary or permanent ban.
Wiki Rules
- Vandalizing any page is strictly forbidden.
- This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, editing pages without valid reason or permission, etc.
- Please follow Fandoms policies, as their ToU applies to our rules.
- Do not insult, harass or make users feel uncomfortable.
- Anything deemed as "toxic" behavior towards anyone will not be tolerated.
- Do not discuss controversial topics of any kind.
- Do not post or create NSFW content of any kind.
- This includes offensive or inappropriate language (profanity and slurs) along with any sexual references.
- Creating a page or any content on the wiki with NSFW content falls in line with this rule.
- Do not advertise under user posts, discussions, pages, etc. for personal gain or anything unrelated to BES or Club Roblox(i.e. advertising your own/someone's discord server). Advertising trade offers, giveaways, parties, etc. is acceptable (please refrain from spamming these).
- Advertising your own or someone else's YouTube video(s) is allowed as long as it is a video about/related to Club Roblox.
- Trade offers should be left in discussions or their appropriate pages (for example, if you wish to advertise a pet trade, do so under the Pets page, the Trading page, or if the pet has its own page you may advertise in the comments of that page). For any general trading advertisements (pets, toys, etc.) it is advised to use the Trading Discussion or Trading page.
- Please read rule 10 for more information regarding giveaways.
- Do not post any malicious off-site links, such as "Free Robux" sites. These do not work.
- Impersonation of any user (this includes Roblox and wiki Fandom users) is not allowed.
- Do not attempt to advertise trades involving cross-trading between different games.
- Regarding hosting your own giveaways, please read below:
- Must be posted in the discussions part of the wiki (can also be put inside the "Giveaways" category, but is not mandatory).
- Must be kept to one post, and must not be spammed or reposted repeatedly (if put into the "Giveaways" category, everyone will be able to easily find your giveaway, so there is no need to spam your giveaway).
- Must include your Roblox username in the giveaway post.
- Must include the prize(s).
- Must include the amount of winners.
- Must include an ending time and giveaway must not end sooner than the stated time.
- Must not ask for anything in return in order to enter the giveaway (such as pets, tokens, robux, following/subscribing to someone or yourself, etc.).
- If found scamming, you will be banned from the wiki with no exceptions, and in-game (Club Roblox) moderation may follow.
Note: It is advised to join the BES Community discord server in order to keep up with information relating to the wiki (like work in progress pages).
- Please keep in mind that there is no official template for pages.
- Despite this, please use common sense and abide by all editing rules stated when creating a page.
- You are free to format your page as you see fit, but please keep in mind that all pages must have some sort of organization that makes reading and understanding your page easy, while getting the intended information across without overwhelming or confusing the reader.
- Note: This rule does NOT apply to the formatting of individual pet pages. These pages must adhere to a specific format, more information about this can be found at rule 13.
- All pages must be made in English only.
- All edits must adhere to proper English grammar and punctuation.
- It is highly recommended to write dates out fully, for example, "August 3rd, 2022" instead of 8/3/22 or 3/8/22, as the MM/DD/YY and DD/MM/YY format can be confusing to distinguish. Most current wiki viewers are from areas with MM/DD/YY but there is still a big mix in viewership.
- Do not create pages that do not intend to relay some sort of Club Roblox information or that just ask general questions (for example, a page asking people what their favorite pet is).
- These kinds of questions can be kept in the discussions part of the wiki.
- If a page you created/are working on is not completed within a certain time frame or is severely underdeveloped/outdated, other wiki editors reserve the right to take over and complete/update said page.
- You do not need to notify the original page creator if you wish to update/finish said page (if the above is true).
- Time frame, underdevelopment, etc. is subjective and it is advised to message an admin before proceeding to make changes to said page.
- Do not create pages on any exploit/glitch related content.
- If you are to find any exploits or game breaking bugs, please do not spread these around and instead immediately report it to a staff member.
- Do not sign a page or announce your edit on the page.
- It is important to not use your name on any page, or to talk about yourself on pages, as you may confuse future readers or editors.
- Do not add useless or unrelated information to pages.
- For example, adding extra images to a completed page that are unneeded or extra clutter (especially if used as a self-insert). This could potentially mess up the organization and formatting of that completed page.
- Do not recreate pages or upload content that is already located within the wiki.
- Deleted pages are removed for a reason, do not recreate them.
- Do not create pages for your own or others giveaways, contests, personal problems, advertisements, etc.
- Instead, please use discussions or advertise in the comment section of appropriate pages.
- When generally referring to players, please keep the terms gender neutral.
- For example, "When the player walks into the Shops area, they will see a countdown board."
- This rule does not apply to specific players or NPCs with confirmed genders.
- "Farming" edits is not allowed and you will be punished if caught.
- Wiki "Talk" pages are generally discouraged to create, but can still be done if needed (it is recommended to use the pages comments, editors message wall, or to comment in the BES Community discord instead). However, creating Talk pages with no intended purpose or clear title/information is not allowed.
- Regarding the formatting of individual pet pages, it is highly advised that you use the Skeleton Pegasus page as a reference/example of how a pet page is to be properly formatted, but please read below for the specifications/requirements of these pages:
- The PetBox infobox template code must be pasted at the top of every page, along with all of the necessary information (please visit the template page to understand how to use it).
- The first amount of information must start with its name (bolded) followed by its rarity, when it was released (if possible), how to obtain it/how you could've obtained it (if it is no longer obtainable), and its price (original price if no longer available).
- Please note that this is the most important section of a page and is required. Everything below this point is not required but if you are able to, please add it (especially for Limited and Legendary rarity pets). If you do not add the information listed below, please add a Stub template to the page. Basically, look at the Skeleton Pegasus page, any information above the Appearance heading must be included along with the PetBox template, the Appearance heading itself and any other information listed below is optional.
- After the information above, a header named "Appearance" must be created, and you must describe the pets appearance to the best of your ability.
- After the Appearance header, create a "Trivia" header and list interesting, not previously stated information about the pet. Trivia must include at least 2 facts about the pet. However, if for example the pet is simply a random common with no real trivia, this heading can be excluded from the page.
- Finally, the page must end with a "Gallery" heading, which will include images of the pet in-game (preferably in GIF format, however if you are unable to do this, just include still images). If your pet has a nickname, it would be best to rename it to its original name (i.e. Skeleton Pegasus). Please do not insert yourself in these images, this includes through the pets nickname.
Thank you for following and understanding our rules! If you find that any user is breaking the rules, please report them by messaging an admin. You may also manually report a users post and an admin will review your report in time.
These rules are subject to be updated and changed at any time, along with additional rules potentially being added. You are to abide by these no matter what.
