Decorating can be a bit confusing as you navigate the different tools, and the furniture catalogue can be overwhelming too. The best way to learn is by playing around with the features, tools, and furniture pieces to find your own style of creating your house! This icon is the one to click to begin editing your home! It shows the grid sizing on the floor and will help with placing furniture. Click this button again to turn off editing mode as well. |
Grid Size

The grid size leads the positioning of any furniture objects that you insert. Click the grid size to adjust the sizing of the squares. The smaller the squares, the more control you have of the object placement. Play around with the different grid sizes with furniture pieces to figure out which you prefer! |

When the "Insert" icon of the Editor Panel is clicked, the panel for the furniture is opened on the right side of your screen. The furniture panel has different categories for item organization, and they are listed in alphabetical order. There are some categories in the main ones. For example, there is a Farming category within the Outside category since it is considered an outdoor activity. Within the categories are individual furniture pieces and decor. Simply click the pieces to have it spawn into your home.

You can edit pieces for further customization, and you are also able to highlight multiple objects at once! You are able to change the item colors, trash them, or individually rotate them. For the color changing feature, a new window appears where you can customize the primary and secondary colors when applicable:
Club Roblox offers the feature to include decals that are uploaded to Roblox. On your PC, you can click the Create tab on the Roblox website. On the My Creations tab, on Decals, you can upload your own decals for approval via Roblox's moderation. On the Library tab, on Decals, you can search previously approved decals. For either option, click the individual decal to be brought to its page with its own link. In this link, there is a series of numbers, which is the decal code.

Club Roblox offers the feature to play music that is uploaded to Roblox. On your PC, you can click the Create tab on the Roblox website. On the My Creations tab, on Audio, you can upload your own songs and sounds for approval via Roblox's moderation. On the Library tab, on Audio, you can search previously approved songs and sounds. For either option, click the individual song/sound to be brought to its page with its own link. In this link, there is a series of numbers, which is the song code.
When you click the Settings icon of the Editor Panel on the left of your screen, you are brought to a window that has tabs for Music, Permissions, and Aesthetics. In the Aesthetics tab of this window, you are able to adjust the time of day. This adjustment affects the natural lighting of your house and the windows that show the outside. It is important to note that the clock works in military time!

- You can utilize decals for a customized ceiling, wall, or floor. You can also use them for more detailing. For example, use the decal of a snack tray in your kitchen!
- You can use the wall pieces for additional rooms. Walls can also be used as custom bed frames, tables, benches, and more!
- Not all furniture pieces can be used for their purposes. For example, you can use the farm fencing as railings.
- Music codes can define the perfect vibe for your parties!
- The furniture item of a "cushion" can turn any area into a comfy seat for any Robloxian.
- Light bulbs can be customized into bright colors that can do wonders for a room's vibe!
- The Structures category in the furniture panel gives the tools to free-build as much as the limit allows!
